Consider the last time you experienced an extraordinary coincidence. The Swiss psychologist Carl Jung coined the term synchronicity to describe those moments as the coming together of seemingly unconnected events. When you reflect on your life, you may recognize that it has been shaped by countless moments of synchronicity. Truly incredible opportunities come into our lives every day, but most of us only recognize them in hindsight.

This week, I invite you to cast off self-imposed limitations and begin creating a real transformation in your life by paying attention to your SpiritSparks. Discover your own untapped reserves of coincidences and synchronicities. You can begin by using a few simple, yet extraordinarily effective techniques:

Connect to your potential. One of the most powerful tools we have for accessing our full capacity as humans is meditation. When we meditate, the mind gradually lets go of limiting beliefs and conditioned thought-patterns, opening us to the flow of new ideas and possibilities.

Plant the seeds of intention. Intention is like a seed. When you plant a seed in fertile soil, such as your sub-conscious mind, and water and fertilize it by your practice of meditation, it has everything it needs to sprout and grow. Learn to plant the seed of intention with this meditation from davidji.

When a coincidence happens, don’t ignore it
. Instead, ask yourself,” What is the message here? What is the significance of this event?” Don’t strain for answers. Just ask the question and the answers will come. They may arrive as a sudden insight (I get them in the middle of the night and in the shower), a chance encounter, a relationship or in another way. Whatever form the response takes, you’ll immediately know that you’re receiving an important clue.

Keep a journal of your coincidences. Writing down the SpiritSparks you experience, whether tiny or huge, encourages more of them to unfold. More coincidences provide more clues to guide your actions and more possibilities for fulfillment.

Keep sending your SpiritSparks to me this week. Your stories are amazing and will be held in strictest confidence.
